Classic Milton Keynes club night featured in BBC documentary

A club night that brought grime sounds to the masses in Milton Keynes has been recognised in a BBC documentary. Sidewinder, which was based in Northampton, but regularly took over the former Sanctuary during the early 2000’s, was featured on the BBC’s 1Xtra’s Stories – Classic UK Clubs on Sunday. The owners of Milton Keynes’ shopping centre have revealed plans to create space for yet more chain stores in the concrete city. Real racers to hit the streets of Milton Keynes

For years boy racers have claimed the streets of the concrete city as their own, but this weekend they’re going to be shown how it’s really done. The film looks at how youth group SK8MK worked with the council to solve the problems assocaited with the city’s thriving skating scene.
