Go out for a good cause this Friday

music 4 MeningitisGoing out in Milton Keynes has never been the most worthy thing to do, but now you have an excuse to get messy, safe in the knowledge you’re doing it for a good cause.

This Friday Music 4 Meningitis takes over SNO!bar with a non-profit musical mash up of live bands,  DJs,  art and comedy.

And if you go, you can do so knowing that all profits from your indulgence will go to the Meningitis Research Foundation, which funds research into a pretty horrendous condition.

Meningitis is not only a killer, it often causes  life-altering after effects as severe as brain damage, deafness and multiple amputations., so causes don’t get more worthy than this.

But the night’s not just worthy – it’s also banging. It’ll be headlined by Kouncilhouse, who’s remixed for the likes of, Pendulum and Micky Finn, and he’ll be joined by Freestylers vocalist, MC SirReal, Beatcheck DJs and more.

There will also be live music from the likes of local electro/hardcore/metal outfit Casiokid, rock and roll from A.K.A, and funk fusion and live dance rhythms from The Cracked. And if that wasn’t enough, there will also be comedy acts and live art throughout the night.

Entry is by donation, so you choose what you want to pay. All takings will go to the Meningitis Research Foundation, so we reckon it’s worth quite a bit.
