Sick ink in the concrete city

By 6th June 2011Art

Here’s a glimpse of some of the sick ink that’s set to bring a bit of colour to our residents’ skin at the city’s first tattoo convention:

The people putting on the first MK Tattoo convention have gone balls out with the attractions. Not only have we been promised some of the best tattoo artists from around the world including those featured in this gallery, there will also be three floors of art galleries, extreme sports, custom-made bikes, graffiti artists, break dancers and live bands.

There will also be a pro BMX battle featuring top UK riders, which we think promises to be sicker than a roller coaster after five cheese burgers and a pint.

If you think your pasty body needs some artistic action, or you just like watching grown men riding very small bikes, get yourself down to the MK Tattoo Convention at the Stadium MK on 18 and 19 June.

Want to know something even sicker?

We have a pair of tickets to give away to the event.

To be in with a chance of winning, send us an image of your tat on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments below. The owner of the one that’s the most impressive (and that’s real) will get their inky hands on them.
